issues with 4.7

i have also noticed issues with the 4.7 version of emby server with lots of pauses while streaming. anybody can share to me a link to the old version pls. i want to rollback. thanks!

All i can say is my server is my pc with ryzen 5 5600x 32G RAM, 3660 Ti and 1G line with ATT, i am also using a router ax11000. Im streaming with nvidia shield pro using wifi. I never had issues before and i noticed few days ago anything i play from webdl to remux bd i have lots of pauses or lags while streaming. So ive read in the forums people complaining too. I have also read a new version coming up, is it a fix? If not i would like to reroll to the old 4.6 version. Can i get a direct link to the .exe? Thanks

It is better to try and figure out the issues as rolling back a major release is usually problematic.

Logs? Screenshots are useless coz as i said the movie just pause and resumes but its a long pause, no errors

Logs show playback method which does provide relevant information.  If direct playing it could be as simple as to high of bitrate and ISP throttling.  But without more information all anyone can do is guess.

Well i will try to get the logs. But everytime i stream its always direct which i always go for. And i know net speeds are not my issues

It is impossible to know your ISP is not the issues as there are several topics on the ISP being the issue throttling connections.  I know my ISP throttles more in peak hours vs other times of the day.  Just like I know my max download speed is nowhere near my true download speed of one item.

I am noticing the same problem since upgrading to server 4.7, when streaming music, entirely on my home network. Simple mp3 files, no transcoding or anything, merely simple streaming from server computer to tablet. NOTHING has changed in my devices, files, or network, but now I get quick, intermittent playback pauses and glitches.

Im so conscious with my net speeds that i always check them frequently in a day and especially if i have connection issues. And i have not seen drop speeds when playback issues arises that is why i know its not my net speeds.

Can you check how much memory does the EmbyService.exe is taking?

I would also like to add. I use plex for sideline and no issues at all. Looking forward to a fix coz i prefer emby over plex...
