"Only not already in library" not working anymore since last update

Hi,

Since update to 4.7.0.60 the option "Only not already in library" do not seems to work properly anymore 

 

Many series are now recording any episodes even if already in library.

 

Is someone else facing this?

Hi.  The key here will be the guide data for the items being recorded together with the metadata on the existing recordings.  For that option to work, both have to have the same series IDs and season and episode numbers.

Can you check that?

I dont know how to technically materialize that...

For example the recording planning now:

Vienna Blood .. Only one epside is new the second one is already un my library.

Medium.. All the episodes of all the  seasons are in my library...

Yesterday, none of them was planned for recording...

After update of Emby these was added... then I suppose it is linked to Emby change.

 

I do not know wichin kind of "series IDs" Emby is using... I this case the existing series in the library are not uisng the same source than the planned recording.

But this was used to work.

 

It can be a transiant issue comming from guide.. But the coincidence is disturbing.

Yes it still occuring.

It happens on some series not for others...

For example the serie "Magnum (2018)" is recording old seanson already in library.

But it is able to detect that all episodes has already been watched...

 

Then, the macth is functionning for "watched", but not for "excluding from recording".

The more surprising there, is that: the "watched" status is matching well ... But the matching to avoid recording is not working for the same episodes...

@pdeliot when it does this, does it end up putting it into the same series folder, or a different one? Can you please attach the emby server log from the time of the recording? Thanks.

They are in different folders as I'm using diffent sources...

-Legal download

-Recording form TNT

-Recording re-encoded

-Recoding from Windows Media Center

-Old recording from XBox...
