WhackOBill 8 Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Apparently, this version of Emby never loses the "Please restart the server to finish applying updates" message even after the restart. Any way around this? Is it forever stuck in needs restart mode now?
viking19 32 Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Same. I know this happened in the past but was a browser issue not releasing the page, the fix was to close the browser then restart from the icon. However, that didn't work this time so I downloaded the setup from the website and updated that way.

ebr 16185 Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Hi. Yes, that symptom almost always means something is preventing the update from completing. One can either spend a lot of time trying to figure out exactly what it is, or just restart the machine which will usually clear it up.
