Recommended specs? 2 GB RAM enough?

I'm considering replacing my aging Windows server with a NAS. Was looking at the TS-133 or TS-230 with 2 GB RAM. Will Emby run ok on this? No transcoding will be done, all native from SMB shares.

Also, will a Synology like DS218play be a better/easier option with better support and more active users, even though it only has 1 GB RAM?
