dawkid 5 Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Hi. This is kind of the opposite problem from what I usually have. My wife watches the same show every day and today, after the update to 4.7.0.60 it came up with an error, "Audio codec not supported". I believe this error is generated by the blu ray player. She uses a Sony BDP3700 to stream via DLNA from the Emby server. It appears that Emby used to trans-code the file but since the update it may be trying to direct play it. I am including the latest server log and also the trans-code file from yesterday when it was working. Thanks embyserver-5-18-22_10-46-pm.txt ffmpeg-remux-65a611b1-b8dc-4fd5-85bd-74f6f03f955f_1.txt
Luke 42085 Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 hi @dawkid, in the server Logs section, can you temporarily enable debug logging, then repeat the test, and then provide a new set of log files? That will give us more information to analyze. Thanks.
dawkid 5 Posted May 23, 2022 Author Posted May 23, 2022 Restarted server. Set debug on. Played file. embyserver.txt hardware_detection-63788858019.txt
Luke 42085 Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 @dawkid this really should still be transcoding. If you have the same emby user open the video up in the web app, which audio track is initially selected?
dawkid 5 Posted June 15, 2022 Author Posted June 15, 2022 Thanks Just tried it again with debug on. Getting no sound. In the web app, TrueHD shows up and is default. embyserver6-14-22_6_40.txt
