Hi, either wait for the package to go through the Synology review process and be available in DSM Package Center, or simply download and install the latest version over the top of your existing version:

I upgraded by stopping Emby in Package Center first and then click Manual Install and locate the downloaded new version.

It worked nicely. Didn't lose any settings and everything in the library is still there.

So if we wait then the update will be automatic if we're using the docker registry location that has "latest build" selected just like any other update?

The native Synology package has nothing to do with Docker. It is a Synology-specific package that can be found under Synology Package Center.
