yes, i have deactived direct play, so there were no playback, only a freezed screen

Not sure why.  There are no errors.  If you leave it it never starts?

If you're not sure then the easiest thing to do is just get it from Synology Package Center.

Hm? I have emby package installed on my Synology. But how can i install on the TV.

 

I have only Google Play Store to install Emby on TV, but i don‘t see a way to install the Emby app manualy on my TV?

This might point you in the right direction.

It refers to Windows 11, but that's only because the downloaded file, an APK file, is stored on a Windows 11 computer.

You should be able to substitute Windows 11 for Synology in the instructions.

Since I don't have an NVidia Shield and I want to keep using Synology and also thanks to your help I haven't found any errors in the logs, I leave it enabled on Direct Play.  This is how Emby works on my Android TV.  Thank you all for your support!!!
