Hey guys, I found the Google sync link and wanted to try the plugin out but it seems to be missing. Is it no longer available or can I download it somewhere else?

@cayars

Thank you.

Hi, yes it's no longer available and we pulled it for a combination of reasons.

It was too hard to setup and keep documented as Google's constant changing the pages referenced.
People thought it could use video files that they already had in their Google account. It doesn't do that but instead syncs a copy of you local media to the cloud provider optionally converted it to be smaller and faster to upload.
The features it was originally designed for can be done with other tools in a much more flexible manner.

Folder sync plugin can be used to generate alternate versions of your media.
Rclone can be setup to access numerous cloud providers including Google mounted to a folder or a drive letter and works on nearly all OS platforms.
With the combination of those 2 tools you have incredible functionality to pretty much copy/move/access files any way you want. If you have files already in any of the cloud providers it supports and have it mounted to the file system you can add those files to any existing or new library and Emby will treat them as local files.

If you let us know what your requirements are or what you wanted to do we can give you suggestions.

That's too bad but understandable.

I have Folder sync installed but to be honest I don't know what to do with it. I created a folder for it thinking it could export my settings in case I needed to reinstall or anything but I guess I totally miss the point of it.

I can't find Rclone in the plugin section.

Honestly, I was looking for a plugin to upload backups of settings and things to one of my cloud accounts.

Hi.  You want the server configuration backup plug-in.
