Managed to fix it. - Renamed video files using filebot which pulled it from a database - Manually identified the show using imdb code only Not sure which of these two steps fixed it, or if it was both. Now showing correct season and episode titles The file structure however was as such: F:\Emby\[genre]\[show] , hid specific names for privacy but [show] is named after the show and within it are the episodes.
pwhodges 2014 Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 It is best to have season folders within the show folder. Paul 1

F:\Emby\Anime\Kaguya Sama The shows originally had the file names Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai S3 - 01 (1080p).mkv for episodes 1-5 With just this, emby automatically identified the correct show, but titled the episodes with season 1 titles. Then I did as I mentioned earlier to resolve it.
