How does your folder structure look like?

Managed to fix it.

- Renamed video files using filebot which pulled it from a database

- Manually identified the show using imdb code only

Not sure which of these two steps fixed it, or if it was both.

Now showing correct season and episode titles

The file structure however was as such:

F:\Emby\[genre]\[show] , hid specific names for privacy but [show] is named after the show and within it are the episodes.

It is best to have season folders within the show folder.

Can you please provide a specific example? Thanks.

F:\Emby\Anime\Kaguya Sama

The shows originally had the file names  Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai S3 - 01 (1080p).mkv for episodes 1-5

With just this, emby automatically identified the correct show, but titled the episodes with season 1 titles.

Then I did as I mentioned earlier to resolve it.

Right ok. That is not currently a supported naming convention, but we can look it in future updates. Thanks.
