KLF&TLF 28 Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 Not sure if this has been raised before or not but has there been discussion or a solution for it. I have a handful of shows that have season openers which are double episodes or even the last 2 episodes of the season. Example here is Seal Team Season 4. It use to show in the show within Emby that there was a missing episode being E02 but not since the last Mac update. I have double checked my library configuration and it is ticked accordingly. So what I have given in you in screenshots is the the folder which clearly shows I am missing S04E02, my library setup, my stats report showing the collected status as well as the missing episode report and then Seal Team S04 showing that E01 is twice as long as all the other episodes. So my question is has this been updated to show that the episode is not missing within the show but it hasn't been updated to reflect the same in the backend reporting function. But from here I looked at 30 Rock which has the last episode as a double and it is not showing as missing within the show so I continued searching just for peace of mind but stumbled that it is not consistent as Scorpion is showing all the right things being S03E02 as missing even though S03E01 is a double. So going back it would be really nice if Emby did somehow pick up that the previous episode was double the duration and didn't report it as missing but I do understand if it can't happen I will just have to edit the files myself to make 2 episodes of the shows. If you need more examples I have some
Solution ebr 16185 Posted May 8, 2022 Solution Posted May 8, 2022 Hi. All you have to do is tell the system that the first file is both episodes. e.g. S01E01-E02. This naming convention is covered in TV Naming
