bgeelen 2 Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Is it possible to add a tag to all items on library level ? My usecase: I want to give some users only access to one or two live TV channels. This can be done by giving these channel a tag, and restrict the user to only see content with that tag. This requires tag restriction mode to be set to "allow only items with these tags" But to give him also access to TV shows and movies, all TV shows and movies need to have a tag also. It would work perfectly if i could give the library a tag, and give the user access to the complete library with that tag. Changing the Tag restriction mode to Block cloud solve this, but creates another issue. For security reasons it is better to give a user only acces to taged files, in stead of blocking only taged files. For example, a new added home video movie is visable to everyone untill i tag it "Private"

bgeelen 2 Posted May 19, 2022 Author Posted May 19, 2022 Thanks for the reply. But this does not realy solve the issue. It just makes it a little bit easier to bulk edit. The main problem is that newly added items added to a folder won't get an tag automatically.
Luke 42078 Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Bulk editing features are planned for future updates. Thanks.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Depending on your structure, tagging a folder accomplish this.
