Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Well, no Emby does not need an internet connection useless there is only a url for your images. But depending on your library settings Emby could have a url for images as it is on demand it you have not enabled "Download images in advance" per library. Download images in advance By default, most images are only downloaded when requested by an Emby app. Enable this option to download all images in advance, as new media is imported. This may cause significantly longer library scans. Unless one is talking about cloud based media and where you store your images.
