HUGO1963 6 Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Hello I want to capture a streaming in real time with OBS Studio from the internet or dedicated IP link , and then simultaneously retransmit it to users on a LAN network through EMBY server , both OBS and EMBY would be installed on the same PC. The idea is that the server that originates the streaming does not support the LAN traffic, but the PC that contain OBS STUDIO and EMBY SERVER ,ie, the PC would as a "buffer"for the main stream Any suggestions? Thanks
Luke 42079 Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Hi, maybe you can use the IPtv plugin to import the stream into emby server. I would try that.
BlackDub 50 Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) OBS with rtmp and do a iptv list with that rtmp generated link, add this list on emby. https://www.josedomingo.org/pledin/2020/07/streaming-video-software-libre/ Edited May 3, 2022 by BlackDub
HUGO1963 6 Posted May 4, 2022 Author Posted May 4, 2022 Thanks Another good option. Let's see how it goes. I'll let you know later 1
HUGO1963 6 Posted August 26, 2022 Author Posted August 26, 2022 Hello I am sending a stream from an rtmp server to Emby Server Premiere. The format is: hhtp://IPhost:port/hls/stream key.m3u8 To make sure that it is being generated, I decoded it with VLC without problems. I downloaded the m3u and IP tv plugins to open it in the EMBY SERVER. The doubt I have is: Where should I write the IP address of the stream , in a m3u list or in IP Tv ? If I send several streams simultaneously, which list should I use? Regards
Luke 42079 Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Hi, for single streams I'd probably suggest using the IPTV plugin. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

HUGO1963 6 Posted September 26, 2022 Author Posted September 26, 2022 Hello Yes, it is working. However, the IPTV folder only appears on the HOME screen , with the administrator account, and not when I log in as any user. I still can't solve that problem.

Do you have Access restrictions on the user accounts.
Luke 42079 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 You can learn how to check on that here: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001160272-content-access I'd say there's a pretty good chance that this is your issue.
HUGO1963 6 Posted September 27, 2022 Author Posted September 27, 2022 Thank you Luke With your indication I was able to enable the IPTV folder to the users. 1
