capturing a streaming in real time and broadcast it with EMBY server

Hello

I want to capture a streaming in real time with OBS Studio from the internet or dedicated IP link   , and then simultaneously retransmit it to users on a LAN network through EMBY server , both OBS and EMBY would be installed on the same PC.

The idea is that the server that originates the streaming  does not support the LAN traffic, but the PC  that contain OBS STUDIO and EMBY SERVER ,ie, the PC  would as a "buffer"for the main stream

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi, maybe you can use the IPtv plugin to import the stream into emby server. I would try that.

Hello

I am sending a stream from an rtmp server to Emby Server Premiere.

The format is:

hhtp://IPhost:port/hls/stream key.m3u8

To make sure that it is being generated, I decoded it with VLC without problems.

I downloaded the m3u and IP tv plugins to open it in the EMBY SERVER.

The doubt I have is:

Where should I write the IP address of the stream , in a m3u list or in IP Tv ?

If I send several streams simultaneously, which list should I use?

Hi, for single streams I'd probably suggest using the IPTV plugin. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Did you get it working?

Hello

Yes, it is working.

However, the IPTV folder only appears on the HOME screen , with the administrator account, and not when I log in as any user.

I still can't solve that problem.

Do you have Access restrictions on the user accounts.
