control emby on a shield from another device

Not sure if i have put this in the right forum,

but here's what i want to do.

I have an NVIDIA shield connected to a TV and receiver.

i want to open emby on the shield and play music. but i want to be able to control the music selection from a tablet, so anyone can select a song.

if this does not make sense please let me know.

Have you tried "Play On" UI button?

Thanks, why would i not be allowed to connect to emby? i'm entering mu emby login and when i hit sign in with emby connect i keep getting sign in error.

so i sign in on my tablet with emby connect then i presented with an option to add server, sign in with emby connect and downloads.

none seem to work.

i get connection failure

were unable to connect to the selected server right now, please ensure its running and try again.

sorted it out, just used the local ip

i dont see a play on button, so i assume you ment chrome cast cast button.

i'll try ity out when i get a chance. tnx
