Allow Media Browser Classic auto-update without admin access

At some point the permissions changed and in order to auto-update MBC and plugins, you needed to be logged in as an admin user.  Is this still the case?  If so, can I suggest that this be a separate permission?  I like the ability of MBC to auto-update but don't want to give every user auto-update ability.

Plug-ins auto update silently for all users now.  I wish I could make that happen with MBC itself but it just isn't in the cards.

 

And any user can update MBC by selecting the "Check for update" button on the config page.  It is just admin users that are bothered with the message at start up.
