How to delete entire music album?

This is so strange. When I choose to delete an album, it is removed. However, all the tracks are still there in Emby and in my files folder. I was under the impression that deleting an album also deletes all of the songs in it.

Was testing this, but since Albums are virtual embedded tag items it doesn't actually delete the tracks.

But deleting from folder view will.

If you delete from Album tab, if you refresh the tracks the Album returns. @Luke

This is counterintuitive and inconvenient as one has to switch views to delete things. Never had this experience in iTunes or Plex.

That is the conflict as all tabs are from embedded tagging (virtual) except for Folder view for music.  But am sure Luke will look into it.

Can say deleting an Artist or Album Artist is the exact same way.  So should deleting an artist nuke all albums for Artist/AlbumArtist? 

But will from folder view.

 

But if actual delete can not happen from those tabs I would suggest the removal of the option for those views.
