musicmafia 38 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Newb here. Not tech savvy but Emby has been working fine for me (for the last few weeks) until now. Windows 10. Haven't changed anything other than adding some new files to the monitored folder. I have RTM activated and have also tried manual scans from library home page and from individual show folder. For whatever reason only one episode out of ten is displaying (Episode 5). It is named same as others and same file type. I will attempt to attach a screenshot and log per the instructions. If anything else is needed please spell it out or provide a link to instructions, as I am new to all this. Thanks for your help! EMBY4-24.txt

Solution seanbuff 1318 Posted April 25, 2022 Solution Posted April 25, 2022 I haven't tested, but i don't think your current naming structure is supported (it's picking it up as Season 2 / Ep 65) I would try and follow the recommended naming structure for TV Series and re-scan the library https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159110-tv-naming 2 1
GrimReaper 4762 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 And all 10 episodes are likely multi-versioned under that single episode. Just follow the suggestion above. 1 1

I renamed a couple eps and they showed up right away. I'm still unsure why it picked up Ep5, when they were all named wrong, but from now on I will pay much closer attention to the naming structure. Thanks for your help!

I would highly recommend you run files through either filebot ($$), or rename my tv series (foss). 1
Happy2Play 9784 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 2 hours ago, musicmafia said: I'm still unsure why it picked up Ep5, Well from the image they were all parsed on "265" (S2E65) 1
Luke 42085 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 The presence of x 265 in the file name throws off the number parsing. We'll look at this, although this is a pretty tricky example. Instead of "Season 01 Episode 01", if you use S01E01 or 1x01 you'd probably be able to resolve this. 1
musicmafia 38 Posted April 26, 2022 Author Posted April 26, 2022 THANKS TO ALL! I'm sure this is a common rookie mistake and I appreciate the fix and all the suggestions! 1
