Some downloaded content shows as 'Content no longer available'

I have download many different movies and shows to my tablet, however, so content says 'Content no longer available' when selected, and cannot be played. 

It shows as being downloaded in settings. Other content plays fine.

Any thoughts as to why?

yes, the files were still there.

I have since unselected the download option for one of the movies, confirmed I wanted the download removed, and waiting a few moments.

The download status changed, but the files were still present on my sd card. I manually deleted the files, redownloaded the movie, and it appears to be working now.
