summary Notification missing.

Hi There,

I am running the latest BETA on Linux (Docker that is).

Question:

I always had two notifications available:

1. a daily notification of all stuff added to the server

2. a daily notification of all media people watched that day.

 

Both notifications seem to be missed, or my I looking at the wrong places?

Can some one guide me?

Hi, did these come from a plugin? there is no such core server option.

Those are Playback Reporting plugin notifications. It might - or might not be - brought up to latest beta. 

@Marc0 you'll find those two tasks under Scheduled tasks, if you have plugin installed. And you need to configure your preferred messaging service(s).

Thanks guys, that should be it then.

I uninstall that plugin (among other stuff on my server) because this Emby server kept locking up (hanging) around once a week at 13:00.

Since uninstalled some docker containers and this plugin EMBY-server seems stable but I am not 100% sure the server is stable... Since this 8 days it did not lock up at 13:00-ish.

I a bit worried to reinstall that "Playback plugin" just yet.... (I am not sure this plugin is a problem at all, but I just stripped to whole server of software I don't really need).

 

Anyway thanks for pointing that out... I now understand plugin can bring additions at places like notifications).
