Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Are you expecting Emby to run as a service and start when you reboot the machine without a user logged in? Or start when a user logs in? Is Emby installing under the same user you are logging in with?

Luke 42081 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Did you actually set it up as a windows service?

Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 On a system reboot you have to log in to host in order for Emby to start assuming you have the option enabled. Dashboard-Settings Run server at startup This will start the Emby tray icon on Windows startup. If you've set up a Windows service then leave this unchecked and configure the service to run at startup. If you are expecting Emby to run without login in after a reboot you will need to run as a service. Emby Running Emby Server as a Windows Service : Emby

pwhodges 2012 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 "Run server at startup" is an option on the server settings page. Paul
