Can't Access through Local Network, can't connect to Roku

Hi, I'm using emby through ultra.cc seedbox, primarily accessing through web on an M1 mac.

I was trying to connect my account through the Emby app on Roku but kept getting a timeout error. I did look through the Emby Connectivity troubleshooting guide and got stuck on pretty much the first step: "A useful test is to try to use a web browser on another device, such as another computer, smartphone or tablet. You'll need to ensure the other device is connected to the same WIFI network. Try opening a web browser on that device and entering the local address manually:"

If I enter my local address as seen on Emby dashboard, I cannot connect to Emby.

"If this still does not work, then most likely the firewall on the server machine is not allowing access" Since I use ultra.cc as my server, is this something that requires me to troubleshoot through them? I'm kind of a basic/low middle user of this stuff so not sure how to proceed.

Hi, sounds like you might need to open ports on the seedbox?

Thanks @Luke, will try to help.

@darpachiefi too am using emby through ultraseedbox, what i do is provide https link directly while connecting to server , without port so it should look like https://name.spica.usbx.me/emby

Port should be empty and you should good to go

Let me know for any other help

Already all ports are open, If you are not able to access through. Please raise a ticket on their portal and also they have very lovely and helpful discord community,  you can ask there too. You get help instantly.

Did you configure anything in emby server network settings?

Good look on the discord, though to be honest i'm not sure what I should even be asking.

Just wanted to do a quick update for future users.

After reaching out to Ultra.cc they guided me to an Emby troubleshoot page that states that Emby Connect doesn't work due to Ultra's infrastructure. Connectivity is possible, however, by following the instructions here: https://docs.usbx.me/books/emby/page/initial-setup#bkmrk-why-does-emby-connec

Hope this helps for future users. Feel free to close this one! Thanks!
