Mbppg 3 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 (edited) Running Emby server ver 4.6.7.0 on Unraid 6.9.2 in a container and has worked well for many years. About a month ago the server would just off. Sometimes when I was watching and sometimes when external family members (outside my home) it would happen to them. Not every time so mostly intermittent. After so checking and seeing it was happening mainly with Roku clients. I determined that is was the Roku client that needed to be updated, that seems to fix the problem for a week or two but it happened again last night at 7:12pm. In this case friend was watching on firestick TV client and had been watching for a while and my son started watching Yellowstone with Roku client and then the sever just shutdown. I have posted the Emby and the unhandled log filesembyserver-63785465493.txtunhandled_2373b0a5-995d-4982-846d-8fcf46343897.txt in hopes they can point someone in the right direction so I can get this resolved. Thanks for looking. Edited April 14, 2022 by Mbppg

Looks like the roku might not like displaying the message. Try turning off the message in the settings. I also published another release to handle the exception if there is a issue with the display message here Edited April 14, 2022 by BillOatman
Mbppg 3 Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 I will try the other release and provide feedback. Thanks.
Mbppg 3 Posted April 21, 2022 Author Posted April 21, 2022 So I ended up just removing Comm Skip for now. When I did, it fixed some other smaller issues with remote users having to log in multiple times or not be able to log in at all. Since I have a sizable family using remote access I removed Comm Skip for a better user experience.
