Guest chipk Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 I cannot believe the struggles I am having trying to set up a simple connection for a friend to connect to a few libraries that are on my emby server. I have never experienced so much difficulty in all my life trying to set up up this for a friend. I have emby on my server as an app. I connect to it through a web browser simple. I add my friends details as another user simple My friend creates an emby connect account, but never gets any invite from me to connect to my server. ALL I AM TRYING TO ACHIEVE HERE IS SO MY FRIEND CAN JUST GO ONTO THE EMBY CONNECT AND LOG ONTO THE FILES I HAVE ALLOWED THEM TO SHARE AND STREAM THE BLOODY MEDIA. WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT, WHY DOES IT NOT WORK

You are adding this newly created Connect Username/Email address to their User account on your server, correct? Not sure if Email requirement is fully implemented.
