devansh9201 3 Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I have set up my emby server on Azure cloud Services with the b1s Virtual machine type (1gb ram and 1cpu). Their internet is pretty decent like overy 600mbps and mine is 100mbps constant . But the video that i stream (4k) is buffering all the time and I quite dont understand why. Any solution?

Luke 42077 Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Hi, I would suggest lowering the in-app quality setting so that the server will transcode the content down to a lower bitrate. Please see if this helps. Thanks.

Then I tried digging deep and found that The video was transcoding (which was slowing down the processes of streaming video) and i tried different different combos of Video playback Quality . And then figured out the problem from Ffmpeg Transcode log file and suprisingly I thought that maybe increasing internet quality could solve the problem so I turned it to 4k-80mbps. This solved the problem as it no longer transcoded the files and Yeah that's it Voila! Problem fixed. ffmpeg-transcode-13b8a7bb-6612-42d6-94b4-2d121944e39e_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 If your network can handle the larger output then that should be fine.
