Hi all, we're trying to get into the official TrueNAS Scale appstore, meanwhile you may use our fork to try it out, some feedback would be much appreciated.

See screenshot below to add it as a new catalog.

The main difference is that it uses our (25% smaller) official docker image instead of the one from linuxserver, other than that it should be pretty much the same experience, linuxserver extracts our rpm anyway. The main appeal though is that it should be available in the official catalog and will be installable out of the box without adding a catalog.

So, are the environment variables documented anywhere? Or are they identical to what truecharts uses?

Perfect, thank you! Will be trying out your Scale official app soon. I think it's great you got it into the official IX app store!

Can it still use Traefik for ingress like the Truecharts version?

Don't see why not.

Cool, I might check it out then. I have been using truecharts apps mainly for the ease of setup of ssl using cloudflare reverse proxy and traefik.

Nice, do you use a reverse proxy for ssl?

Probably not. Will likely be using Wireguard remotely to get in from hotels, etc. It's how I've always done it. Wireguard is automatically connected to on mobile when out of the house, and, travel router at hotels.

Nice, I'm waiting for merlin to add wireguard for my asus router one day and I will likely put the whole house behind it.

Yeah, I use Merlin also! That would indeed be wonderful, not sure if my AC5300 will end up being supported or not. So, using a simple PI as a wireguard gateway right now.
