GrumpyTrucker 3 Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Hi all. I seem to be having an issue with Emby Server waking my PC seemingly randomly, although I'm not sure it's that random as will become clear. Originally I was wondering why the PC would not stay asleep. I eventually traced it - I think - to the two issues: Android Emby apps staying open in the background and only releasing their connection to the server when booted from memory, and me leaving Emby open in a Chrome tab on the PC in question. However, I have noticed taht the PC will still randomly wake and a cmd powercfg /requests usually has EmbyServer as the culprit. Now, the log from tonight's wake up looks like this around the time of the wake-up (within half a second so probably linked?): 2022-04-06 13:08:32.981 Info SystemEvents: SystemEvents_PowerModeChanged Suspend 2022-04-06 23:09:10.410 Info SystemEvents: SystemEvents_PowerModeChanged Resume 2022-04-06 23:09:10.413 Info TaskManager: Daily trigger for Configuration Backup set to fire at 04/07/2022 00:10:00, which is 60.82643401 minutes from now. 2022-04-06 23:09:10.414 Info TaskManager: Daily trigger for Refresh all Smart Playlists and Collections set to fire at 04/07/2022 01:00:00, which is 110.82642644333333 minutes from now. 2022-04-06 23:09:10.414 Info TaskManager: Daily trigger for Thumbnail image extraction set to fire at 04/07/2022 02:00:00, which is 170.826425175 minutes from now. 2022-04-06 23:09:10.414 Info TaskManager: Daily trigger for Rotate log file set to fire at 04/07/2022 00:00:00, which is 50.826421085 minutes from now. 2022-04-06 23:09:14.988 Info Server: http/1.1 GET http://192.168.1.xxx:8096/emby/system/info/public?format=json. Luke 42080 Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 Hi, do you use emby dvr? That will schedule wakes with windows task scheduler. Also when you enabled debug logging did you make sure to read the help text when doing that?
