Docker I/O Wait hangs Emby up

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Since some weeks the Emby Server hangs up the whole server and I don't really know why. It's not regularly. I attached some anonymized logs.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks

Hi, try removing the anime plugin. Then restart emby server and see if that helps. Thanks.

Let us know how you get on. Thanks.

I didn't helped. I will attach later the Logs and a Screenshot from the CPU load.

How do you know that's from Emby Server. Please also attach the complete Emby Server log rather than just a portion of one. Thanks.

Here are the full Logs. That you see that its from Emby I can attach the next time a Screenshot from the processes.

To improve the performance of your server, please try removing these plugins:

2022-04-10 15:37:19.278 Info App: Loading CoverArt, Version=4.1.17.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /config/plugins/CoverArt.dll
2022-04-10 15:37:19.278 Info App: Loading playback_reporting, Version=1.9.0.5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /config/plugins/playback_reporting.dll
2022-04-10 15:37:19.278 Info App: Loading InfuseSync, Version=1.4.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /config/plugins/InfuseSync.dll

Then restart the server and see how that compares. Thanks.

Actually, wait, the single most impactful thing you can do is shut down the Ombi software and leave it shutdown. Please see how that compares.

I think thats not the problem. See this processes gives me these I/O waits:

Can you please try my two suggestions anyway and see how that compares? Thanks.
