if I still have problems and I can not access the local network

Hi,

Looking at your log it seems like it's confused.  Some IPs are IP4 and some IP6 with some from IP6 to an IP4 address of the loopback 127.0.0.1 taking 20+ seconds.

Decide if you need IP6 AND IP4 both active.  If not removing one likely fixes your issue.
Otherwise start at the router and review IP setup to make sure DHCP is pulling an ip6 address and pulls an ip6 DNS server(s).
Same for ip4 addresses.  Make sure you get a DHCP address from your ISP as well for both an IP and DNS Server(s) using ip4.

In Emby remove the local address you put in the network section and let it pull the IPs the server is getting from your router.
It's going to use the ip6 address and show that in the GUI which is correct but should still be bound to all addresses as long as you don't specify one like you're doing now.

Test using the ip6 address from another computer.  I know hard to type those long addresses but if you're going to use them then use them. If it works when testing you can also give you network a name such as "local".  If you set the name in windows to "emby" then that should get registered on your router and you can then use "emby.local" vs typing and IP.

maybe use "home" instead of local so you can "emby.home"  Both home and local should be understood by your router as being LAN addresses.

Try that for starters and let us know you make out,
Carlo

@LukeShould Emby "NetworkManager: Detected local ip addresses:" be detecting the IPv6 WAN address?

But would guess disabling IPv6 would/could correct the issue.

Ideally no, and that should only happen if an ipv4 address is not detected.

Hi there, you can go through connection troubleshooters and post which steps worked and which didn't:

I have the problem of not connecting locally

Can you post a startup server log.  But if you can not connect locally that suggests a firewall issue and would need resolved before looking at remote connections.
