NVIDIA SHIELD cannot connect to server on Mac

Hello,

I have an issue to use the Emby on Nvidia Shield. I already read here that the Emby TV is momentarily missing on Google play. So I tried to connect to Emby server on Mac from Nvidia Shield via web browser (Puffin and Chrome). I used the address from dashboard. It does not work, the error is ERROR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. I did not find a solution here for this case (in meaning of devices I am using).

I downloaded the application from Emby site and run on Nvidia Shield, the Emby start and works, I can see all my library. But I cannot run any video. The reason I dont have the Emby Premiere. The application asks me for paying the unlock, that says 'The item you requested is not available for purchase (probably because it is not in Google play).

 

Can you somebody help me how I can watch the Emby on Nvidia Shield under this circumstances?

Same here. Cannot unlock Emby since it is not available in Play Store. Is there any alternative method to unlock the app?
I will suscribe to Premiere in a few months, but I need the app fully functional ASAP.

A small update, when I try to connect from iPhone, it works.

Hi @TibiConnect are you sure you're using the right server address? What address is in the browser address bar on the Shield?

Hi Luke,

yes, I am. It is exactly the address from the Emby Dashboard. Even sometimes happens that in Nvidia browser for one second blinks the Emby screen and immediately the error is shown.

Which one, the remote address, or lan address?
