Does Emby lifetime subscription ever go on sale?

I am looking to move to the lifetime sub, after testing out this platform and liking it quite a lot, in particular features important to *me* that work well. I saw a reddit post that it was on sale at some point, how often does this happen, I'd like to take advantage of that.
