Hi, I made the purchase about 30 minutes ago, and the email I have on Emby is the same as my PayPal email. Approximately how long will it take for the license to appear?

Should be fairly quick, however I have had a couple of users in the past where it'd taken over 24 hours. I believe something was going on with the emby licence system at the time though. You'll also want to restart your emby server instance. 

 

Oh, also download and install the beta. That's the release you'll need to use to get things downloading.

So I reached out to one of the core devs to ask for some insight as it's happening on a call to one of the emby functions and not my code. 

He said he thinks there is a problematic series in your collection would think your series list screen will show the same error in the log, and pulling the series up in the web UI should just fail.

You need to find the problem series, hopefully by pin pointing in the web UI as above then remove it from emby and re add it back into your collection

For info, was able to make it work again, here how :

- Stop emby
- Copy the library.db from the data folder in a working folder
- Open the library.db with DB Browser for SQLLite
- Search in the database for bad date : Select * from MediaItems where DateCreated not between -62135596800 and 253402300799
   Got 3 corrupt line with bad information
- Run this to delete all :

Hi

I have 2 problems

1. Emby Beta

with the latest Emby Beta version the settings aren‘t scrolable anymore - on other plugins it works but not on yours

 

2. Licence activation

I use the same mail address for Emby as for buying my licence on your site (global licence for the 4 plugins)

I got a mail with a key which I can‘t put in in the settings - no such option

As far as I saw here this should work automatically when the mail addresses are indentical or am I wrong? How long does this usualy take? Minutes? Hours? Days?

I don't support beta so you'd have to roll back to stable to use them.

That'll just be your premier key so it'll already be tied up

Ok - thanks for the info - so nothing to do for me

and reverting from beta isn‘t possible - all the libraries are than gone

but that‘s no problem - I don‘t need the plugin settings for now as no licence has to be entered

Ok - I gonna see

It‘s my second day with Emby so still much to learn - swapping over from Plex

For now I like it more - and the themes are now loading (not yet playing besides the one from the shows with the letter A - already present from the trial)

Has a bit to do now now that the licence is activated

Just a small question:

The movie video backgrounds are working well under the web browser but not on the TV App - Do you maybe have an idea why? I can't find any option in the settings as for the web settings.

Maybe this doesn't work on the Android TV App? Didn't try yet on my XBOX to check

That's a question to ask in the various clients threads pal. I don't control the playback, just the metadata. If the themes are landing then the plugins job is done.

Hello,

i hope somebody can help me with my problem.

Today i've purchased the "Emby Theme Media Full Price" Package. I've got the same Key like my Server licensed. 

Than I've installed the TV-Theme Songs and Movid Theme Songs Plugin to my Emby Server. In the install screen i get the message of

the picture, so i think all is good. 

When i download the local TV Show Songs all of them working great.

But when i want to download the local Movie Theme Songs than the task running for only 1 Second. 

In the  Log-File i get the error:

Give it a bit of time pal. The emby licence can take a big of time to update but you're right, everything is good to go. Restarting your emby server instance can help pull the licence through so give that a go. Cheers
