I had Emby DVR set to record 30 minutes over and apparently the Oscars ran 40 minutes over. For whatever reason I cannot seem to access the stream via abc.com to catch the last 10 minutes which is when Best Actor and Best Picture are announced. It wouldn't matter much except my wife is an Oscars Fanatic, watching every single movie on Emby before the awards show and likes to watch the whole show. We had a family obligation last night or it would have been watched live.

Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone caught the whole show and wouldn't mind sharing it. It is public domain and was freely available OTA so there's no copyright violations and I am not usually one to ask for other people's content.

PM my if you want to share.

The Oscars broadcast is not public domain, and copyright holders licensing their content to be broadcast over the air does not remove their copyright.

I understand that but lets not get too technical about this.

I have a Spectrum Cable Subscription and even if I didn't have a Cable Subscription I could record it OTA with my HDHomeRun Quattro Tuners and the antenna on my roof which is about as public as it gets.  I legally recorded it but my padding wasn't enough.

That has nothing to do with anything.

And even if you were right about the law, which you aren't, your request has nothing to do with Emby.
