Emby in browser, full screen button not working!

Hi,

The Full screen button is there in the lower right corner, but if I click on it, nothing happens.
Only option is to press, F11, but that is not always convenient.

Please can this be fixed?

Netflix has also a fullscreen option and that works very well..

Are there errors in the browser console when you do this?

No issue seen in Edge or Chrome on stable to beta server here.

The Full screen button only works on Chrome on iPad!

1. Chrome version 99.0.4844.82 (Official build) (64-bits)
2. Microsoft Edge Version 99.0.1150.52 (Official build) (64-bits)
3. Opera Version :84.0.4316.42
4. Firefox Version 98.0.2 (64-bits)
5. Pale Moon Version 29.0.1 (64-bit)
6. Brave Browser Version 1.36.122 Chromium: 99.0.4844.88 (Official build) (64-bits)
7. Vivaldi Browser 5.1.2567.73 (Stable channel) (64-bits) 
8. Marathon Browser Version 6.1.3.2000 (64-bits) 0324

All these devices no full screen with the button on all browsers.

Checked on:
1 x Asus Laptop
5 x PC's

1 x iPad Pro 10.5" full screen button works in Chrome!

Can you capture the contents of the browser debug console? Maybe you have a browser extension or option not allowing it.

It seems to be working just fine in my testing here.

Yes, right click somewhere, then select Inspect.

2 Errors:

 

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Fullscreen request denied

Fullscreen request was denied because at least one of the document's elements is not an iframe or does not have an 'allowfullscreen' attribute.

 

I have searched on the internet, it's nothing I can do to make it work, all coders that are talking about the error, and fix it by changing the code:

e.g. Someone Quoted:

"It means that you are trying to go in fullscreen mode without user interaction.
You won't be able to put the user in fullscreen without it, the browser prevents you to do so."

My Question?

So what can I do about it?

I just start any browser with fresh install, and then I go to my emby website, thats all. No plugins, no iframes no notthing just all clean browsers.

F11 Works, and that is the same function. Full Screen.

Hi, had the same problem but I found out what was causing it for me.

Im using no-ip dns and when I have "Mask URL" checked then it wont go fullscreen. Unchecked this box and working fine.
