Deej36 0 Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 I have some known buggy media files that blip / stutter in consistent areas. I have noticed though that depending on what I am playing them back with, I get different behaviors. Emby Theatre / Chrome - The blip happens, then video and audio get out of sync; will come back in sync after a few seconds. Not very tolerable. Firefox - The blip happens, but it's really just a slight delay. It comes back right after that without any sync issues. Very tolerable...I can work with this. Roku app - The blip and the playback just stops. Skips forward to the next episode. Not at all tolerable. Also if I play the MKV file directly with something like VLC, I do get the blip but it's basically the tolerable Firefox-like behavior. Fixing the media really isn't an option. Is there something I can do to make either the Emby Theatre or Roku performance as tolerable as it is with Firefox. I have included server log. A known blip would have occurred around 4:29:30 or so. At least nothing looks different to me. Thank you in advance! embyserver.txt

ebr 16187 Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Sorry but, no, there will not be much you can do other than fixing the bad media. Some players simply do not have any tolerance for errors in the source.
