MichkeIV 0 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Hey there, I am setting up my server. But my movies weren't loading. I had not that problem with kodi or plex, but on emby I have. So I choose movie, select path and library scans 0 movies. When I select a mapfolder in the same path he scans that one movie.. So nothing to do with permissions.. who can help? Many thanks

Luke 42080 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 HI there, how many emby libraries have you setup? What folder did you add to your movies library?
MichkeIV 0 Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 Hi I did set-up 2, one has series and that worked just fine. The other one are movies. I just toon a test with a folder in the same path. With the 300 collection, is in 1 folder. Emby scans it and workers fine. The other library is same path but all my movies, emby doesnt scan
MichkeIV 0 Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 But even then, the library shows the art in front, with nothing from files in I really do not understand this...
Luke 42080 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Try removing the Films library. You can't have one library pointing to A:\ and then another library pointing to something underneath that.
MichkeIV 0 Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 Yes, I did the underneath path for testing after I first started with the A:\\ path.. I will delete the A:\\300 Path, but the problem is still that the library does not scan that path. My path is: A:\\Movie\Movie Center Home\
Luke 42080 Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 How many emby libraries do you have now, and what folder paths are added to each one?
MichkeIV 0 Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 Hi, Now I have 2 libraries. Folder path A:\\Movie Center Home (does not scan) Folder path B:\\Shows Center Home (does scan and is correctly added all)

MichkeIV 0 Posted March 25, 2022 Author Posted March 25, 2022 Here is the last logfile, when i was scanning libarery, and he didn't found any movies in A:\\ embyserver.txt
MichkeIV 0 Posted March 25, 2022 Author Posted March 25, 2022 ok, this morning i was Testing a new folder in the same Path. I ordend my movies and gave hem just another name :"title (year)" also i think Emby doesn't scan collection folders. So I have Folders with Marvel Collection, that he doesn't recognize so skips all the movies within. Is there another way or do i just need to order everything over again?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 It is usually bad use the root of any drive as hidden system folders/files can stop Emby from scanning the drive. If you put your media in a parent folder and add that to Emby does it make a difference? 2022-03-25 08:55:20.257 Info LibraryMonitor: Watching directory A:\ 2022-03-25 08:55:20.257 Info LibraryMonitor: Watching directory B:\
MichkeIV 0 Posted March 25, 2022 Author Posted March 25, 2022 Hello Again!! Problem Solved! hoeraaaaaaiiiiiii There was One folder in A:\ that is damaged and unreadable. i moved it to another folder, because i Can't erase it. but Emby now can scan my directory A:\ fully and al the movies are in Emby now!!! Hoeraaaaaaai again. I just have one other problem about the subtitles, i checked forum already about that, but it doesn't put automaticly dutch subs. I have opensubtitles.org as a VIP.
Luke 42080 Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Thanks for the feedback. Please create a new topic for subtitles.
