Where is the resume rewind option?

Based on the recent announcement there's apparently a resume rewind playback option. Can anyone find it? I don't see resume rewind anywhere. All I see are the standard skip forward / skip back options.

If you jump up to the timeline you should be able to scroll /eft/right based on your thumbnail intervals just like with ATV.  Hard pressing the left/right will make it scroll through the bifs quicker.

Right, but that isn't resume rewind as I've known it. In the Android TV app there's a resume rewind option that will jump back a specified amount of time when starting a video from Continue Watching. So if you set it to 30 seconds, it'll automatically jump back 30 seconds when you press play. That way you get a reminder of what was going on when you pressed pause.

Sorry, I must have misread your post.

Resume rewind is in the Playback settings toward the bottom.

Can you send a screenshot of what you have? It's not showing up on mine. The last item I have is skip back.

You need to be connected to beta 4.7+ server, I don't have it either connecting to stable 4.6.7.0.

This is on my Shield in TV mode, but I see it on my Android phone also.

Thanks, I don't think it mentions the server version in the release notes.

Yeah, hosted Web app doesn't show it either if connected to stable, only for beta.

Thanks @FrostByte @GrimReaper. I never would have thought of checking the beta server. I guess Luke built it into the server which is good. Not sure he mentioned it in the Android app announcement though.

Thanks, been on this beta for so long I forgot when it was added.  Still probably should have been in the notes for those who never look at the betas.

I'm not sure what you mean. I started this conversation couldn't find the option in Android.

You did, stating:

as the announcement was written as:

Releasee 3.2.43 has additional new features including:

If it was denoted that that feature requires 4.7 beta:

you likely wouldn't post the topic at all?

Normally, I'd say "my bad", but I'm gonna pass the buck up the line to the person who gave me the raw bullet list, but I won't mention any names.  LOL

@GrimReaper thanks for the heads up on this and sorry this was confusing @mbarylski

I edited both the Android and iOS blog posts to reflect this.
