Log on issues outside my home network.

I am trying to log on remotely and seems server on your end is not recognizing my password.  I was able to reset to new password but unable using app to log on to my server.

How are you connecting, Connect or directip/DDNS:port?

Directip and connect both are not working when trying to sign in.

Are you using the correct account for each method as every user has two accounts?  Connect and Local user.

I go off my home network and use connect with the app.  I can log into my account but it when I attempt to use my server it takes me to sign in again and fails.

In a browser connecting to WANIP:8096 are you able to log in with your Local User account on your server?

As a local user I am having no issues.

So via connect you login in with your Connect info, select server and login with Local user info and it does not work?

I checked the router settings and the correct port are open.  And remote access in granted in settings.

Can you please go through the troubleshooting in this article and tell us exactly which step fails?

What do you mean by open? Did you setup port forwarding? Can you show a screenshot of that?

Per forum address ports are open and accessible from WANIP:8096.

OP says they can login with local user on WAN.

So all issues appear when using Connect.

I haven't seen confirmation that logging in that way is working.  He just said "as a local user I have no problem".  That sounds to me like it works on the local LAN but it is vague...

Direct answers to both your and my questions will help clarify.
