GPU reccomendations for hardware transcoding

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone one had any ideas what i could use for my GPU for transcoding if there is anything better. I am currently using a single slot GT1030. Ideally if it was single slot it would be great. I am running my emby server in a docker container on Truenas Scale.

Filter out the Kepler 1st and 2nd gen and select what level of transcode you want i.e 4k to 1080p and the chart shows you the ave number of transcodes its gpu can do, obvs check if it can handle h265 in the table below and pick one based on how much you want to spend

• Quadro p400 2gb Ram single slot circa 7 1080p to 720p transcodes or 2 4k to 1080p transcodes ebay price roughly £60
• Quadro p600 2Gb Ram Dual slot circa 7 1080p to 720p transcodes or 2 4k to 1080p Transcodes Online  price circa £110
• Quadro p2000 5gb Ram Dual Slot circa 17 1080p to 720p transcodes or 5 4k to 1080p Transcodes 2nd hand price circa 350-500

Sure you can get ideas from that chart for your slot requirement / transcode numbers and price
