Music conversion duplicate in library

Hi,

All my music library is FLAC and I would like to download the library to my mobile devices for offline access. However it will need converting first as the mobile devices don't have enough storage. If I convert an album to the mobile friendly profile, it converts fine. I get MP3's next to the flac files in the windows directory however the album now shows the songs twice in the emby library.

Is this expected behaviour, I'd say it makes it pretty unusable, I guess I would have to use the download to option to convert for each device.

Hi, yes this is probably your best bet.

We currently don't do multi-version audio like we do with video, although it is possible for the future. Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification, hopefully this can be improved in a future version!
