Hello

I am doing a bit of tidying up with my content by renaming it and having multiple versions.

The idea is not everything likes 4K as much as I do so I am playing around with conversions but i can't get much consistency with it. My goal here:

  • Only convert content that is 4K
  • Convert it to 1080p

As for the file names and stuff. I have a script with PowerShell that handles that part so my media stays grouped together

I find I am selecting the same options for the conversion but I am not getting any form of consistent results and some films go to 720p some stayed at 4K

When it comes to the time i want to enable this for the entire Movie library. I can't see any option for Anything 4K or greater which gives me the feeling it will convert everything

Any ideas on how I can achieve this?

My conversion options i am selecting:

My conversion settings... If that is any use to anyone at all

Also, great work on the whole conversions part of Emby! I have converted 10+ films so far in the last few days and my god it is amazing. I tried using Plex's before and it was utter ****, whatever you are doing... Your doing it right.

Hi, there is no such filter to stop it from converting the entire library, but as a rule of thumb, files will not be converted if they already match the conversion output criteria.

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
