New first time user can't log in to Emby Connect

Hi. I have just signed up via this link, and validated my email - which took me to your community page - which also has access to my account which says my profile is 100% complete.

however when I now go to sign in with this link
http://app.emby.media/#!/startup/connectlogin.html
via either safari or iPhone my username and password return an error "Sign In Error Invalid username or password. Please try again."

Yet when I click on the ‘sign up’ button it takes me to the community page where I am already logged in! Does it usually take a while for the connect server to process new users?

Tried changing my password and that hasn't worked either.

just tried firefox and that has worked, both iphone and mac were safari, so obviously it’s a safari browser thing.
