mike3821 67 Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 So I'm moving my server over to a new install of Debian. I took a backup of my current system, and installed the server backup plugin, pointed it to the backup folder and ran a restore. It restored 27 libraries. Duplicates everywhere?! How do I fix this?
Luke 42078 Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Hi, a couple others have reported this and we're looking into the cause. For right now I would just delete the duplicates from emby library setup.

mike3821 67 Posted March 16, 2022 Author Posted March 16, 2022 So what I did to move my emby server over to a new server was the following. 1.) Tar'd up /var/lib/emby 2.) Installed Emby on new server 3.) Extracted my emby.tar.gz to /var/lib/emby 4.) Started Emby Walla! Everything is working. Lastly, something related to the backup plugin, when attempting this, not only did I have problems with libraries, it also loss all my custom channel numbers under Live TV.
mike3821 67 Posted March 17, 2022 Author Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) So it looks like Emby 4.6.7 has issues with cifs and my kernel. I'm able to read content but not able to write. I confirmed all permissions are correct. I've moved over to the beta, and the beta is able to write to my shared drive. How far are we off 4.7 being officially released?
