vyper013 1 Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Hi all.... I know this has been covered a bit.... but I seem to be having a weird issue. I am trying to backup using the plug in. but it seems to not like the permissions of the destination. I have a two paths... .one is a SMB path... the SMB host has a user call "media" with FULL permission on the folder. the is shared and connected via /etc/fstab. the credentials connecting to the file server are definitely the "media" user. If I am at the terminal I can create folders/files to my heart it content. When I try to do a backup it fails. it feels like a permission issue... but... can anyone point me in the right direction... I can then go stand in the corner with my cone hat on..... embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 HI, assuming you've configured your share correct, then you're being impacted by a defect in the .net core runtime that is embedded in emby server 4.6.7. In the upcoming 4.7 release we've updated to a newer version of it that has corrected this.
