I had it setup for granddaughter to use out of network, and it worked great until I had to replace router. Now, I can not figure out how to add her again. I have added the user, how does she connect to it again.. I need instructions that even a dummy like me can understand. Luke 42083 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Hi, it is the same process as adding any other user and then you simply configure user as desired based on what the use case will be. You probably want to setup a user on your server and then link it to her emby connect.

When she test it, I will follow up with status

pwhodges 2012 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 (edited) Not unless you also post the password associated with it. Also, changing your router shouldn't have changed anything in Emby itself. Have you checked that your external internet address is unchanged? Have you checked that the port forwarding in the router is correct? If you are relying on UPnP to set the ports automatically, have you checked that it is enabled in the router - the installation default might be off? Paul Edited March 6, 2022 by pwhodges

I had already made a mess of my users account.
clarkss12 304 Posted March 7, 2022 Author Posted March 7, 2022 User working again. Had user go to the Emby connect site and reset her password. I then added her user name into the (Optiona(Optional) Emby Connect username or email address: field. 1
