any idea how to accomplish this

Hey

I‘m using an iptv provider which allows me one stream simultaneously.

I‘m using it for one football game a week, always the same team is supposed to be viewed.

unfortunately the team always plays on a different channel. There are sports channels from 1 - 6 and each week the team plays on a different channel.

the epg I‘m having for these channels is very accurate, so I can rely on it.

As I only have one connection I need to make sure that only the channel is active in Emby which shows the desired team.

Currently I‘m doing it each week manually:

- check the epg where the team plays this week

- disable all other channels

Do you have any ideas how to automate that process? So parse the epg for the team name and then disable all other channels via emby API - is that possible?

so from what I read it is possible to search EPG via Emby api, but there is no way to enable/disable channels via api @Luke ?

You could always use the same disabling that the server management channels screen uses. the api for that is not documented at this point so you could just sniff what the browser does using the browser debugger.

Why do you need to disable the other channels, can't you just select the one that has your teams game?
