EliteOtaku 4 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 (edited) Try to converse some video files to smaller size but most of them stuck. It says ready to transfer but stop there, I tried to run transfer task manually but nothing happens. Actually, I found the conversed video file in temporary directory but system doesn't move it. Pls check attached logs and screenshots. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-7664d66a-ab0d-4545-b510-ab80d16fea2b_1.txt Edited March 6, 2022 by EliteOtaku

I am checking the other settings as well. Thank you for instant reply.
Luke 42078 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Let us know what you find. @FrostByte do you have any tips?
FrostByte 5392 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Did you also give Emby RW permissions at the file/folder level?

Well, I tried to choose Original media folder, next to original files and this time it works....the compressed video file shows up in library. I did give Emby RW permissions at the folder, if I didn't, Emby should not be able to write, correct? This makes me confused. So I triey REPLACE option again with 2 different video files. Because I had updated from DSM6 to DSM7 last year and reinstalled Emby, I think this may cause the weird problem. I will try to reinstall Emby later if I am free to test. this is the one failed: IPX-830 magnet:?xt=urn:btih:5c60b859a1072717a6b02b0f939c853bb797655c&dn=%2B%2B%2B%20%5BHD%5D%20IPX-830%20%E7%BE%8E%E4%BA%BA%E5%AE%B6%E5%BA%AD%E6%95%99%E5%B8%AB%E3%81%82%E3%82%93%E3%81%AA%E5%85%88%E7%94%9F%E3%81%AE%E6%8E%A5%E5%90%BB%E3%83%AC%E3%82%AF%E3%83%81%E3%83%A3%E3%83%BC%E5%80%8B%E4%BA%BA%E3%83%AC%E3%83%83%E3%82%B9%E3%83%B3%20%E5%8A%A0%E7%BE%8E%E6%9D%8F%E5%A5%88&tr=http%3A%2F%2Fsukebei.tracker.wf%3A8888%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fopen.stealth.si%3A80%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.opentrackr.org%3A1337%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fexodus.desync.com%3A6969%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.torrent.eu.org%3A451%2Fannounce
