Try to converse some video files to smaller size but most of them stuck.

It says ready to transfer but stop there, I tried to run transfer task manually but nothing happens.

Actually, I found the conversed video file in temporary directory but system doesn't move it.

Pls check attached logs and screenshots.

Hi, emby server is being denied write access to the destination folder:

volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system
	System.UnauthorizedAccessException: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path is denied.
	 ---> System.IO.IOException: Operation not permitted
	   --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Please resolve, try again, and then you'll be good to go. Thanks.

I checked the permission of Emby user name in Synology, it should have already granted RW.

I am checking the other settings as well.

Thank you for instant reply.

Did you also give Emby RW permissions at the file/folder level?

Well, I tried to choose Original media folder, next to original files and this time it works....the compressed video file shows up in library.

I did give Emby RW permissions at the folder, if I didn't, Emby should not be able to write, correct? This makes me confused.

So I triey REPLACE option again with 2 different video files.

Because I had updated from DSM6 to DSM7 last year and reinstalled Emby, I think this may cause the weird problem.

I will try to reinstall Emby later if I am free to test.1423448998_QQ20220306210544.thumb.jpg.c71f004e89bae06120fbf22427484cb9.jpg
