I am new to Emby (old Plex user) Installed app on TV, downloaded media server. Read library setup and attempted to "Add Media Library" nothing happens. will not leave setup page. How do I create a media library for this application?

Hi, did you enter a folder path to add as a media library?

Those were the articles I read. 44001159319-library-setup is the one that I was referring to. The attachment shows where I attempted to do what the article states

"To get started, click the button to add a media library."  when I click on the box to add media library, nothing happens. What now?

Just proceed with Next, you'll create it afterwards, go Next Next Next till your server's up.

I clicked on the "Add Media Library" and also clicked on the "Next" button and nothing happens. That is what I am trying to explain. I have already installed the server on my TV and now I am attempting to create a media server to use it.

I just attempted to access the library setup with Microsoft Edge. The results are the same, no movement when I click on any of the boxes in the support doc. The only thing different was when I entered my user name and password, The screen attached appeared but I get errors trying to access any of the boxes as shown

You can't connect with Connect account before you link local user on your server with specified account. Have you done that during Startup wizard? Additionally, your server needs to be set-up for remote access. Your best bet would be to press "Skip" there and connect to local IP:Port with local user credentials (which might or might not be same as your Connect credentials) that you created initially.

Are you sure you entered the right host url to connect to your server? What did you enter?

Try using an actual http url instead of just z170.

You should try connecting locally first. Once that is done, you can setup Remote access.

You entered your WAN address? Were you inside or outside your local network when attempting to do this?

I was inside my network when I googled What's my IP on the server I wish to store the media library

Are you not able to get to your server via localhost:8096 (if on same machine) or LANIP:8096?
