Emby Server Not Releasing HDHomeRun Prime Tuners

Server Version:  4.6.7.0

Server OS:  Windows 11

HDHR3-CC Firmware Version:  20220203

I recently built a new server running Windows 11 for my Emby installation.  Over the past several weeks, I've noticed the system drive filling up.  After investigation, I found that the Emby  transcode-temp directory was consuming all free space on the system drive.  There are two files in the folder that are growing in size even though no content is being played or recorded from the server.

When looking at one of my two HDHomeRun Prime boxes, I notice that 2 of the 3 tuners are in use by my server, who's IP is 192.168.11.10.  I enabled debug server logging on 3/2 and have attached the most recent logs.  The challenges is, I don't know precisely when this problem happens (not sure which log applies).  Restarting the server seems to clear the problem temporarily and the server releases the tuners when when recordings finish or when no content is being played for some period of time.

I restarted my server this morning and I will try to capture the specific channels that the server does not release next time.

Has anyone observed this behavior before?  If so, does anyone know how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, this should be improved in the upcoming 4.7 release. Thanks.

Hi.  If your users are using Roku devices, it can also help if you tell them not to exit live TV by using the "Home" button on the remote.  Back out first.

Thank you for the suggestion. In my case, the clients are not Roku. Primarily LG TVs, Nvidia Shields, Windows, iOS and Android devices running the Emby client/app.
