Download artist image as folder.jpg?

I have emby set to include all metadata inside media folders for my music.

I have the file structure as such:

FLAC/

    Artist/

         Album/

            Tracks/

Is there a way to get an artist image in these folders so it can be recognized when browsing the folder structure with Emby (or any other app)?

It is probably too late now but what is the library "Music folder structure:" set to?  When not set or recognized Emby will save Artist and Album to /metadata folder.

It is set to "imperfect" or whatever that one is called, because they are not all perfect, but not even the correct ones are giving me an artist folder in the main folder for an artist.

Not positive but believe "Other or Unstructured" will download all Artist and Album images to /metadata folders if they do not already exist in folder.

Correct. If you want local folder support for images, you have to tell us what the folder structure is, and of course, it has to match what you indicate or there will be problems.

I've done this. Then rescanned and told Emby to redownload all metadata and images. But I can't find a single folder.jpg for an artist folder.

The folder name must also exactly match the albumartist tag of the audio files.

Some certainly are, I have exactly 0 artist images, at least not stored locally. I will re-add the library and see what happens.

So I am resyncing the library, I deleted my music library and re-added it. I am starting to see artist images, but they are not stored in the local folder even though that's what I said to do. Curious why that command doesn't work, even for easy artists like "Sade", can't really mess that spelling up.

@lightsout let's look at an example attempt using the following information:

Who knows, perhaps it tried to save in the artist folder but was denied write access to it.
