Embedded subtitles don't show in std Android app, but do in Android TV

The embedded subtitles seem to be missing in the standard app. And in Android TV, they don't appear on the pre-play screen, but they do appear when playing the video. Why aren't the embedded subtitles showing up in both apps before playing the video?

Standard App - No Subtitles

Android TV - When Playing Video

Pre-play screen in either app - No subtitles

Those are closed-captions.  If you are using the release server, it has no knowledge of those.

Ah, got it. I see them under subtitles in beta. Look forward to the move to stable!
